Member Information: Burt Biss is an excellent turner and has turned for many years. He held the office of Alaska Woodturners' Association State Fair Coordinator for many years. Acting as liaison and coordinator with Alaska State Fair officials, Burt ensured the AWA demonstration booth had adequate space, the equipment needed, and turners to demonstrate throughout the day during the two week event. Burt has recently retired from that position, but is still an active AWA member when he is in town.
